A Journey of Faith

I’m an extremely blessed, joyfully married, and deeply passionate father of two who has been called to share The Light I’ve been gifted in a much broader way.

I invite you to join my family and I on our journey of faith that began after the birth of our son Angelo Michael on 6/2/24. One week after he was born, 7 months after purchasing our first home, God inspired me to ask my wife Leslie for us to take a leap of faith: To resign from my lucrative career and leave my work family of 17 years so that I could answer the call God placed on my heart. “Timothy, your dreams and ultimate purpose do not align with staying where you are. It’s time to take the gifts and talents I gave you, pick up your cross, and follow Me.”

Leading up to that point, Leslie and I had many tough conversations about how I was changing significantly over the past year due to my newfound faith and love for Jesus. So it was a massive ask of her given our circumstances. My wife and soulmate took the leap with me and has been both a loving supporter of my calling as well as a warrior for our family.

My hope is that through documenting and sharing our journey of faith, it will help others with theirs or even help others start their own.

As I write this on 12/29/24, the last several months have not been easy. Heartaches, doubt, stress, overwhelm and anxiety have all been part of this journey. But our love and faith in God, in His Word, in one another and support from much of our family and friends has led to many more blessings than the emotional turmoil mentioned.

We’ve learned that when we live in gratitude and focus on thanking God for what we have and what we’ve been given, none of that turmoil can exist in our minds at the same time.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV): "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

My aim is for people to find me trustworthy. I work hard to be as loving, wise, genuine, honest, empathetic, courageous, and strong of a man as I can be. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m flawed, have a lot of room for growth, and am not better than anyone else. I want to help others understand that it is through this type of admission of imperfection that we can humbly give and receive forgiveness for each other’s flaws/sins.

Romans 3:23 (NIV): "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV) ‘If you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.’

With all sincerity if you have read this, please know that I said a prayer asking our Lord to guide, strengthen and protect you in the same way he has done these things for me.

In Jesus’s name I prayed

Amen.

May your journey be merry and bright

-Live Blessed
